Transgenic
food is obtained from a body to which you have added genes to copy another
food.
Currently
there is greater presence of food from transgenic plants such as corn that is resistant
to insect attack, the high, tomatoes slowly ripening or long life golden rice
There are
some advantages and disadvantages. We will be able to consume more vitamins,
minerals, proteins and less fat level. Crops are more resistant to virus attack
without using chemical products. What means an economic saving and less damage
in the environment.
On the
contrary, transgenic products are always going to arrive to markets without
a label.
Also it may
disappear the biodiversity and there are environmental risks.
In
conclusion, I believe that even if transgenic food has some disadvantages, the advantages
outweigh them. Consuming transgenic food is an excellent way to have a healthy diet.
